Most of the parcometers have a 2-3 hours limit but if you download the app (https://www.agencemobilitedurable.ca/en/practical-info/pmobileservice) you can extend it remotely. You actually cannot extend per say,but you can purchase another stay. Meaning you have to wait a close a possible of the 2 hours since the remaining time is lost. Pay your parking! They are quite fast on giving tickets.
Before parking look at the signalization at least 3 times !! Parking signs can be quite a challenge to understand and there are signs everywhere, so you need to find the one or ones that apply to your spot.
